Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Private Credit Associate to become part of our client's innovative team. This position involves supporting the initiation, evaluation, and oversight of private credit investments, providing an opportunity to engage with a variety of transactions and work closely with senior investment specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough financial evaluations and assessments on potential private credit investments.
  • Aid in the design and execution of debt transactions, including crafting investment briefs, credit proposals, and legal documents.
  • Oversee the performance of current portfolio investments, generating regular reports, and conducting continuous financial analysis.
  • Create in-depth financial models to analyze investment opportunities and evaluate risk-adjusted returns.
  • Work together with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless transaction processes and timely execution.
  • Stay updated on market movements, industry advancements, and regulatory changes affecting private credit markets.
  • Assist senior team members in building and maintaining relationships with borrowers, financial sponsors, and other industry professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or CFA certification is advantageous.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or a related field within the financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
