The Analyst I Quality Control Environmental Monitoring is responsible for sampling, detecting, quantifying, and identifying possible contaminants that may interfere with the quality of the product during the different stages of the manufacturing process.

This position reports to the QC Microbiology Supervisor and is part of the Quality Control Environmental Monitoring Team located in Fargo, ND and will be an on-site role.

This is a first shift position, 10 hours days, Mon-Thurs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform routine and non-routine Microbiological and Analytical Microbiology sampling and testing, which will include environmental monitoring (viable air, viable surface, total particulates, water sampling, compressed gas monitoring).
• Take on responsibility of plate incubations and be able to perform plate enumeration to attain final viable EM results.
• Perform data entry in lab information management system and paper following GDP guidelines.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 0-1 years of experience in microbiology or relevant QC experience in a GMP laboratory setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related scientific field
• Working knowledge of aseptic practices and techniques

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Build and utilize strong working relationships with other departments
• Ability to multi-task and is detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
