Job Description

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to lead and support Agile teams across multiple domains, including legacy system sustainment, production support operations, DevSecOps, and CI/CD enablement for USDA Rural Development (RD) systems. This role is essential to ensuring the consistent delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions aligned with federal IT standards.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Leadership and Delivery:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, solution demos, Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure backlog refinement, delivery alignment, and clear communication.
  • Support multiple Agile teams in coordination of release trains and sprint sign-offs.
  • Track and report on Agile metrics, team performance, and delivery outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

DevSecOps and CI/CD Integration:

  • Coordinate change, incident, and release management efforts with infrastructure and platform teams.
  • Lead initiatives for automated testing, secure deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems that support high availability and compliance.
  • Drive DevOps transformation for legacy systems and ensure CI/CD best practices are adopted consistently.
  • Ensure adherence to Section 508 accessibility, federal security standards, and documentation requirements.

Operational and Technical Support:

  • Oversee backlog prioritization and sprint execution for sustainment and production support teams.
  • Support root cause analysis and defect resolution in a timely and collaborative manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, including Release Notes, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), Logical Data Models (LDMs), and Data Dictionaries.
  • Facilitate cross-training, sprint knowledge transfers, and team mentoring to foster skill development and resilience.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Scrum Master Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting legacy systems, DevSecOps pipelines, and federal IT environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and Agile sustainment models.
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and coaching skills.
  • Experience with secure SDLC, compliance documentation, and large-scale Agile environments.
